Our fleet

The legend began in November of 1962

It was inspiered by “Cinerama”, the experimental widescreen cinematography in the U.S.

From its introduction, it became the finest symbol of Riva itself, a brand within a brand, the slogan of which included the keywords, “Sun, Sea, and a Passion for Life.”

Super Aquarama represents the evolution and empowerment of what had already become an icon. Only 203 vessels were built, with “Alma” 12th in order of construction. Its name represented the soul and was also an acronym for Paola and Erio’s two eldest daughters (Alessia and Maddalena).

Alma, belonging to Moroccan royalty, came from the southern coast of Spain, then transported to the Matteri worksite on Lake Como in deteriorated condition, where it underwent a long and painstaking restoration.

Today, the legend lives on in the waters of Lake Como half a century later with the same spirit of “Sun, Lake, and a Passion for Life.”

This symbol of the elegance and perfection of the 1950s was the most successful model of the Riva worksite, with only 200 produced.

Tritone No. 11, completed in 1995, can be as the first of its kind, since the models before 1954 were labeled BQ. Originally named Enfalf’s II, it was owned by illustrious stars of Italian soccer history and later found abandoned in a field.
Finding only its empty hull, Erio Matteri accepted the challenge of bringing it back to life… winning this challenge through careful and detailed restoration to return the vessel to its initial condition.

This was the first Riva Tritone to perform transportation service with a commander. Today, Engalfs II boasts the largest number of photographic services in the world. It has starred in publicity spots and famous films, and has carried well-known celebrities.
