A symbol of elegance and perfection since the 1950s, the first of its kind, it was Riva shipyards’ most successful model, built in just over 200 examples.

The production of this model, which began at the end of the 1940s, finds its roots in the BF, only later will it take the name of Ariston. The origins of the name already revealed the very ambitious intentions of Carlo Riva, “Ariston” derives from the Greek “aristos”, the best and this was exactly what the designer was thinking when tracing the lines of this boat.

In November 1962 the myth was born: its name is Aquarama and it is inspired by the “cinerama”, the large American experimental cinema screens. Since its presentation it has become the Riva symbol par excellence, a brand within the brand. The Super Aquarama represents the evolution and enhancement of something that was already an icon.

It needs no introduction, its hull contains all the most sought-after characteristics: class, style, perfection, elegance, dynamism: every owner’s dream. Its production began in 1972, with a longer hull and a more imposing appearance than the Aquarama, but above all with a redesigned stern for greater convenience when climbing out of the water and its lines became an icon of style of the nautical design.
