The program
Navigation towards the centre of the Lake, visit of the famous Villas that line the banks of Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Laglio, including Villa Le Fontanelle, once home to Versace, and George Clooney’s Villa Oleandra. On the opposite bank, in the town of Torno, stands the majestic Villa Pliniana built in 1573. Crossing the lake once again, heading north, you will come across the famous Comacina Island, the only island on Lario that had a key role in the history of Como in Roman times and in the early Middle Ages.
Continuing the journey to the far end of the Lavedo peninsula, stands one of the most beautiful and romantic mansions of Lake Como, Villa del Balbianello, which thanks to its charm, has been used as the setting for several films such as Casino Royale and Star Wars. Today it is home to many luxurious events. Return journey. Cruise towards Como’s basin, passing by Villa del Balbianello and Comacina Island until you reach Nesso, a small fi shing village that unveils a natural wonder: in the old hamlet, a Roman bridge crosses the gorge from where the fresh water of a natural waterfall merges with that of the Lake. The trip continues towards Cernobbio and George Clooney’s prestigious residence. Return journey. Would you like to freshen up?
